Cocoa & Walnut Bliss Balls

  • 250g dates
  • 250g walnuts

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 125g powdered chocolate

  • 175g desiccated coconut

  • Plus, coconut for rolling

Apricot & Cashew Bliss Balls

  • 250g dried apricots
  • 250g cashew (unsalted)

  • 1/2 cup maple syrup

  • 175g desiccated coconut

  • Plus, coconut for rolling

Method

  • Blitz dates & walnuts or apricots & cashews and walnuts in food processor
  • Add in maple and blend until a paste formed
  • For cocoa bliss balls – mix together powdered chocolate and desiccated coconut and combine with date mixture
  • For apricot bliss balls – add desiccated coconut to mixture
  • Add more maple if mixture is too dry
  • Weigh into 40g portions and then roll between palms to form a smooth ball
  • Roll the bliss balls in desiccated coconut to coat the outside
  • Label, date, refrigerate.
